As the body of Christ, the local church is to be comprised of “members” that make up the body. Immanuel Baptist Church is to be one body made up of many different members who use their individual gifts to care for each other and do the work of ministry together. (Ephesians 4:4-6; Philippians 2:2; 1 Corinthians 12:12-26).
The ministerial staff is called "to equip God’s people to do his work and build up the church, the body of Christ.” (Ephesians 4:12). Our staff is excited and thankful to serve the Lord at Immanuel because we know this glorious mission of reaching the nations for Christ is not about us — it’s all about Jesus!
Lindsey’s ministry at Immanuel is to communicate opportunities to show the love of Christ to members, regular attenders, and our community in order to help spread the Gospel.
Monica’s desire for ministry is to point children and their parents to the beauty of the finished work of Christ, while helping them to raise totally surrendered followers of Christ who will love Jesus, love others, and make disciples.
Drew’s heart for ministry is to partner with parents and student ministry leaders to equip students to become disciples who make disciples and to be missionaries who say "Yes Lord" to whatever Jesus calls them to do.
